Positive: Extremely well set up, clean and well managed by Victor (who as the chef is also vegetarian so understood my needs and was only too happy to help). Lovely township area. Comfortable bed and warm room. Accessible and well sign posted.

Positive: Victor the staff member was very attentive, Nedi picked us up from Cape Mclear and organised an excellent guide in Alex for our day on the mountain.
Negative: Electricity was patchy, shower didn’t work and toilet leaked. Was a little tired could do with a bit of tlc.
Summary: Whilst the property is pretty basic, we were able to get wifi, wash with warm water in a bucket

Positive: The location is great to walk to Mount Mulanje. They can help you with a guide.
Negative: When I was there, it had problems with the water and also with the power. I think I was just unlucky but that was a bit difficult.

Positive: My stay here was simply fantastic. I immediately felt at home. The hosts are very funny, kind, and gave me lots of great tips for the rest of my trip. The breakfast and dinner were also delicious. The room is spacious, beautifully colorful, the bed is comfortable, and there is even hot water. The location is a perfect starting point for all hikes. Even for people who don’t want to walk very long, there is a beautiful route to the Likhubula Waterfall. My guide, Yamikani, told me a lot about the local nature and brought me back safely. I can highly recommend him as well. I had my motorbike with me, and it was safely guarded and locked away at night. I can truly recommend this accommodation to anyone who enjoys staying in a warm and family-like environment. The price-performance ratio is excellent! Thank you for everything!

Positive: This is a simple, friendly & helpful place, a perfect base for hikes up the beautiful Mulanje mountains. Nedi offered us a very affordable package with overnight accomodation in Chambe hut up on the plateau and with a great guide (Felix) and porter (Happy) - both were very friendly and reliable. We can recommend this place
